Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current CNMT certification for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Position is in an acute care hospital setting within a nuclear medicine department
Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 1 hour lunch break
Responsible for radionuclide procedures and both exercise and pharmacological nuclear stress tests
Patient scheduling and documentation required using Allscripts EMR
Duties include performing and documenting nuclear imaging tests and preparing patients for procedures
No orientation hours provided
Assignment length is 13 weeks

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB required
Active BLS (AHA) certification required
Must hold a current NYS state license
Proficiency with Allscripts EMR preferred
License required if applicable
