Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and at least one year of inpatient hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an inpatient hospital MRI unit
• Performs both routine and specialized MRI procedures
• Works 3x12 day shifts from 7:45 AM to 8:15 PM, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• No on-call requirements
• Competently perform high-quality MRI procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes
• Responsible for assessing and monitoring patients and communicating effectively with families and care teams
• May orient and support other staff as needed
• Mus abide by all HIPAA and safety regulations
• Candidate must have been gone at least one year if previously employed at this facility before being considered as a traveler
• Only one holiday off (RTO) will be approved during the contract
• Candidate must be available to go for lab work within 3-5 days of signing ACA
• A 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility

Requirements

• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Venipuncture licensure
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification as MR technologist
• Active California license required
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital MRI experience
• At least 2 years of MRI experience required unless otherwise stated
