Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position specializing in comprehensive liver care, requiring a VA or compact RN license and ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU unit of a hospital environment
• Specialized focus on comprehensive liver care
• Night shifts consisting of 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• Transplant experience is highly preferred
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Primary responsibilities include caring for patients requiring comprehensive liver support and transplant-related care
• Compliance with a natural nail policy is required
• The facility is drug and tobacco free; smoking is not allowed on campus
• Holiday coverage may be required; time-off requests must be submitted with application
• No approved overtime without manager approval
• Fingerprinting required for all ER and Psych candidates per Virginia law, with start contingent upon results

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 12 months ICU experience required
• Transplant experience highly preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school (diploma, Associate, or BSN accepted with ACEN or CCNE accreditation)
• Candidates must not have been employed at the facility within the previous 6 months
• BSN preferred
