Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a day shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Position based in an interventional radiology unit
• 16-20 cases per day focusing on interventional radiology procedures
• May float to the Cath Lab as needed
• Epic electronic medical record system is used and experience is required
• Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 1 day per week
• Weekend shifts required, totaling 4-6 weekend shifts during the contract
• Holiday coverage is critical during Mardi Gras, so requests for time off between 2/13 and 2/22 should be minimized
• A 75 mile radius rule applies to determine eligibility
• Permanent employees of the facility must be separated for at least 1 year to be considered for travel roles
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off is permitted
• Team members may be required to support other procedural areas based on demand

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Louisiana State Radiologic Technologist License required; temporary LSRT accepted if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
