Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with scrub and circulate experience in multiple specialties and a valid MA RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Care for diverse surgical populations including transplant, liver and kidney, endo, vascular, neuro, trauma, general surgery, pediatric, micro, and emergency cases
• Must be able to both circulate and scrub in specified specialties
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (6:45 to 19:15)
• 1 night on-call required every third weekend
• Assist with a range of surgical procedures including high acuity and emergency cases
• Call rotation includes one night every third weekend
• Team supports a broad spectrum of surgical specialties
• First time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Previous scrub and circulate experience in an OR setting required
• Ability to handle complex cases including trauma, vascular emergencies, transplants, and pediatric surgeries
• Successful completion of a pass/fail EKG test required
• Must provide two professional references, one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Cannot have prior disciplinary actions on nursing license
• Must reside at least 200 miles from the facility
