Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Operating Room setting in a hospital
- Patient cases include Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology surgeries
- Shift is 10:30am to 9:00pm, four 10-hour shifts per week with a rotating day off, Monday through Friday
- On-call required, approximately 12 shifts every 6 weeks
- Uses Epic for charting
- Experience with Davinci Robots, endovascular, and ophthalmic procedures is a plus
- No travel pairs or groups accepted for this assignment
- No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved automatically, and no time off allowed during the first week of orientation
- First week orientation attendance is mandatory
Requirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility and outside prohibited counties in Texas
- Former permanent staff must have at least 1 year gap before returning as a traveler
