Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a day shift role in a large acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Work in a short-term acute care hospital within a Level III Trauma Center and teaching environment
- Position based in the Nuclear Medicine department
- Day shift schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, variable start and end times between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- May be required to float within scope to similar units as needed
- Epic is used for charting and EMR documentation
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Candidate must have been away for at least one year to be eligible as a returning traveler
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Up to two contracts may be completed before a required six-month break
- All requested time off should be declared prior to consideration and is subject to manager discretion
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Must have relevant Nuclear Medicine certification
- License required if applicable
- Locals must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
- Must provide two professional supervisory references from the past two years
