Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a day shift role in a large acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital within a Level III Trauma Center and teaching environment
• Position based in the Nuclear Medicine department
• Day shift schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, variable start and end times between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• May be required to float within scope to similar units as needed
• Epic is used for charting and EMR documentation
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Candidate must have been away for at least one year to be eligible as a returning traveler
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Up to two contracts may be completed before a required six-month break
• All requested time off should be declared prior to consideration and is subject to manager discretion

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
• Must have relevant Nuclear Medicine certification
• License required if applicable
• Locals must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Must provide two professional supervisory references from the past two years
