Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position with travel experience and required certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool, floating to PICU, NICU, and CVPICU units within the same campus
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am
• Potential but unlikely floating to affiliated Kansas campus
• Care provided for pediatric patients requiring critical care
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Float assignments will remain within pediatric critical care specialties and will not involve other types of units
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Work on a nicotine-free campus with routine nicotine testing
• Flexible scheduling is preferred for candidates
• Active and valid certifications must be provided at the time of consideration

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at the time of consideration; KS license preferred or willingness to obtain
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required, issued by the American Heart Association
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience in PICU, NICU, or CVPICU is highly preferred
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 12 months required
• Clean Nursys report required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
