Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position with travel experience and required certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool, floating to PICU, NICU, and CVPICU units within the same campus
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am
- Potential but unlikely floating to affiliated Kansas campus
- Care provided for pediatric patients requiring critical care
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Float assignments will remain within pediatric critical care specialties and will not involve other types of units
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Work on a nicotine-free campus with routine nicotine testing
- Flexible scheduling is preferred for candidates
- Active and valid certifications must be provided at the time of consideration
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required at the time of consideration; KS license preferred or willingness to obtain
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required, issued by the American Heart Association
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Experience in PICU, NICU, or CVPICU is highly preferred
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 12 months required
- Clean Nursys report required
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
