Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with Cath Lab Preop/Recovery and stress lab experience, holding a TX or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, three 12-hour shifts per week
• On-call required for one 12-hour shift per week
• Floating may be required within scope to meet hospital needs
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Responsibilities include comprehensive ICU care and supporting Cath Lab procedures
• Adherence to a 5 days or less restriction for requested time off
• Block scheduling accommodations are not available

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience required
• Previous Cath Lab Preop/Recovery and stress lab experience required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending licenses not accepted
• First-time travelers will not be considered
