Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with Cath Lab Preop/Recovery and stress lab experience, holding a TX or compact license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
- Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, three 12-hour shifts per week
- On-call required for one 12-hour shift per week
- Floating may be required within scope to meet hospital needs
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- Responsibilities include comprehensive ICU care and supporting Cath Lab procedures
- Adherence to a 5 days or less restriction for requested time off
- Block scheduling accommodations are not available
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience required
- Previous Cath Lab Preop/Recovery and stress lab experience required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Pending licenses not accepted
- First-time travelers will not be considered
