Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring a current OH or compact RN license and recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Care for adult medical-surgical patients with telemetry needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months
• Travelers must wait at least 6 months before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location for another assignment
• Orientation includes competency assessments in ECG recognition and medication safety
• Lotus is used for submitting hours worked

Requirements

• Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
