Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week seasonal Telemetry/PCU position with a night shift in Nevada requiring a current NV RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
  • Patient caseload typical for a telemetry/PCU environment
  • Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • No local candidates accepted per 50-mile radius rule
  • Typical responsibilities include monitoring telemetry patients and providing intermediate level care
  • Must be willing to work as a traveler without local residency within 50 miles of the facility
  • Only US applicants will be considered for this position, no exceptions for Canadian candidates
  • Holiday and weekend availability may be expected based on hospital needs

Requirements

  • Active NV RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in PCU or intermediate care
  • At least 1 year of recent specialty experience required
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from AHA or ARC, valid for at least 30 days beyond start
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
  • At least one professional reference required
