Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift travel assignment in Nevada requiring a current NV RN license and strong critical care skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) unit within a hospital setting
  • Care for critically ill cardiac and post-surgical patients
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week seasonal travel assignment
  • Floating requirements not specified
  • Provide specialized care for complex cardiovascular patients, including those undergoing advanced procedures
  • Compliance with hospital documentation and care protocols is expected
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
  • No local candidates will be considered per radius rule
  • First-time travelers not specified

Requirements

  • Active NV RN license required
  • At least 2 years of recent CVICU or critical care experience
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
  • NIH Stroke Certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent specialty experience within the last year
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • Professional references required per state guidelines
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
