Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of OB experience and a NM or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Position is in a combined Obstetrics and Gynecology unit
Work in a hospital setting providing care to laboring mothers and OB/GYN patients
12-hour day shifts (7:00am - 7:00pm)
13-week contract assignment
Provide nursing care to labor and delivery and OB/GYN patients throughout the birth process
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on maternal and infant outcomes
Scrub or dress code requirements not specified

Requirements

Active NM or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery or OB/GYN nursing
Current BLS certification (RQI certifications not accepted)
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
COVID vaccination required
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
