Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring pediatric critical care experience and active MO or compact licensure.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a children's hospital
Work in a Magnet designated, teaching hospital with Level I Trauma Center and Level IV NICU
Night shift schedule, 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:00)
13-week travel contract assignment
EMR system is Cerner
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Scrub uniforms may be any kid-friendly color or pattern
Free parking available with permit
The hospital is a nicotine-free campus and tests for nicotine use

Requirements

Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum of 1 year recent PICU nursing experience required, 2 years preferred
Travel nursing experience required
Current certifications in BLS and PALS (American Heart Association) at time of consideration
Two professional references from a supervisor or higher within the last 12 months required
Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
