Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week contract with afternoon to overnight shifts and a KY or compact RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room within a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts from 1:00pm to 1:00am
• Direct patient care in a busy ER environment
• No on-call requirements specified
• Perform comprehensive nursing care to ER patients in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Applicant must submit required demographic documentation for credentialing
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on ER needs

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience required
• Standard nursing certifications must be from accepted providers (RQI Certifications not accepted)
• Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration
• Must submit proof of COVID vaccination
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed full time elsewhere
• Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the facility
