Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a PA or compact license, and at least 2 years of recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a general Operating Room setting
• Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No floating required
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Scrub and circulate roles are expected
• Experience in Level I Trauma or Ambulatory OR settings is preferred
• No specific scrub color required
• Local candidates are accepted with a pay rate differential
• A 50-mile radius rule applies for local traveler determination
• Relevant recent references and current certifications must be provided for consideration
• Requests for time off must be submitted up front
• No preference for scrub color attire

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required
• Experience as both scrub and circulating nurse is required
• Experience in Level I Trauma or Ambulatory OR preferred
