Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuroscience ICU position requiring strong neuro experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in a hospital Neuroscience ICU/IMCU unit
• Day shifts with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• The patient population includes neurological and critical care patients
• No on-call responsibilities required
• Must provide care to patients with complex neurological conditions in an intensive care environment
• Holiday time off will not be approved for specified dates including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's periods
• Travelers will be scheduled to work either Christmas or New Year's holidays, as well as Thanksgiving or Black Friday
• Must provide recent supervisor or manager references from similar experience within the last 2 years
• Required documentation includes updated skills checklist, certification cards, and Nursys license verification

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or neuro specialty experience
• Current BLS certification is required
• Relevant neuro ICU experience must be clearly documented
• Work history or resume must have no employment gaps over 60 days
