Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CVPICU position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and pediatric critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Care for pediatric cardiovascular patients
• Floating required to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical-surgical units as needed
• Be prepared for frequent floating between various pediatric critical care areas
• Must adhere strictly to attendance and punctuality policies
• Responsibilities include providing specialized care for pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients
• No call or on-call requirements
• Switching agencies for contract extensions must occur at least 3 weeks before contract end

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license is required
• Prefer close to 2 years of relevant experience in pediatric critical care
• Must provide 2 supervisory references including at least one supervisor or manager
• Not eligible if employed as a permanent staff RN in the same health system within the last 2 years
• No local candidates permitted
