Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in California requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment duration
• EPIC EMR system is used
• Responsibilities include monitoring telemetry patients and responding to cardiac events
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Assignment limited to a maximum tenure in accordance with policy; extended assignments may require a 90-day break
• All required documents and references must be submitted for consideration

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required prior to consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent telemetry experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending licenses or certifications are not accepted
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth are required for consideration
