Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a 13-week Interventional Radiology assignment in Illinois, requiring current IL RN license and IR/cath lab experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a diagnostic Interventional Radiology (IR) unit within a hospital setting
  • Day shift position from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday
  • On-call required 2-3 times per week with rotating weekends for emergency cases
  • Core responsibilities include supporting IR and cath lab procedures
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Primary duties involve providing specialized nursing care for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • On-call support is expected for nights and weekends to cover emergent IR cases
  • All local and travel candidates are accepted as local and travel rates are the same
  • Scrub or dress code requirements are not specified

Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of IR or cath lab nursing experience
  • Basic critical care experience (ER or ICU) required
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Verification of nursing license via Nursys
