Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring at least one year of recent experience, Oasis and HCHB proficiency, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Home health care setting with a geriatric patient population
• Patients seen within a 60-mile radius from the office
• Average caseload is 6-7 patients per day
• Day shift schedule: 5 days per week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call requirement
• HCHB electronic medical record system used; experience required
• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, and documentation for home health patients in compliance with Oasis standards
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• iPad provided for documentation; cell phones not provided
• Scrubs of any color are required; jeans are not permitted
• Local candidates accepted at travel rate
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment

Requirements

• Active PT license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year recent physical therapy experience in home health
• Oasis proficiency required for start of care visits
• Proficiency in HCHB EMR is required
• Current BLS certification required
• Timely communication and documentation skills required
