Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a night shift contract requiring 1 year of experience and Epic charting proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Work in a short-term acute care hospital setting with a focus on X-ray imaging
- Night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Block scheduling is provided
- Call required for 2-3 shifts per month
- Epic EMR proficiency is required
- No floating between units within the hospital, but floating to affiliate hospitals may be expected
- Must have a vehicle for assignment
- Candidates may be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- Scrub attire of any color is permitted except OR/Cath Lab, where scrubs are provided
- Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to start and annually
- Return to work policies and radius rules apply
- Minimal to no RTO is preferred; requests for extensive RTO may delay or impede consideration
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year X-ray technologist experience required
- Current relevant certifications required
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years must be provided for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for a travel contract
- Former perm staff must have a 3 month gap before returning as a traveler
