Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California with a CA RN license and advanced certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital
• Night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-7:30)
• Every other weekend required
• On-call coverage required as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients and newborns
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Completion of online learning modules required during orientation
• Return staff must be gone at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler
• Only one holiday time-off request will be approved
• Local candidates accepted, subject to a 50-mile radius rule

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring (all from AHA)
• Must have all certifications in hand at the time of consideration
