Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California with a CA RN license and advanced certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital
- Night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-7:30)
- Every other weekend required
- On-call coverage required as needed
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients and newborns
- Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
- Completion of online learning modules required during orientation
- Return staff must be gone at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler
- Only one holiday time-off request will be approved
- Local candidates accepted, subject to a 50-mile radius rule
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring (all from AHA)
- Must have all certifications in hand at the time of consideration
