Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring at least one year of skilled home health experience and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

Home health setting covering Medford, OR and surrounding areas
Visits up to 6 patients per day with a 1:1 ratio and a standard of 30 productivity points
Day shift; 8-hour shifts from 8:00AM to 4:30PM, five days per week
No weekends, on-call, or float within units required, but floating statewide between facilities is expected
EPIC and Oasis are used for charting and documentation
Oasis experience is required
Travelers are responsible for transportation and may occasionally drive a radius of 50+ miles, though scheduling generally aims to minimize drive time
IRS standard mileage reimbursement applies
Any color scrubs are acceptable
No accommodation for block scheduling or extended shifts (e.g., 4x10s or 3x12s)
First-time travelers are not accepted
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
Modules totaling approximately 16 hours must be completed pre-start and annually
Minimal to no RTO (requested time off) is preferred and must be discussed prior to consideration
Locals within a 50-75 mile radius are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

Active PT license required if applicable; pending license accepted
Minimum of one year of recent skilled home health experience required
Current BCLS certification
Own, reliable transportation required
Primary series COVID-19 vaccination plus one booster required
Minimum of two supervisory references from the past three years in a comparable setting
Epic and Oasis experience required

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
