Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray with valid ARRT certification and California state license for mobile diagnostic services.
Responsibilities
- Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and related sites
- Utilize portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography equipment
- Day shift position, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
- Weekend work may be required based on caseload
- On-call responsibilities will be discussed during the interview
- Obtain clinically diagnostic X-ray images and ensure timely transmission to Radiologists
- Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to Cardiologists
- Responsible for scanning and submitting paperwork and billing documents daily
- Maintain vehicle and radiographic equipment
- Professional communication with dispatch, management, clients, and staff required
- No more than 5 days of requested time off permitted
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification required
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist license required (limited license not accepted)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing and pulling equipment between 50 and 100 lbs multiple times daily
- License required if applicable
