Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry (Vascular C5) night shift position requiring a NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Vascular C5 telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Patient population with vascular conditions requiring telemetry monitoring
• Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience is required
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Travelers may not be local or reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
• Competency and skills testing may be required
• Call outs exceeding 3 in a 13-week contract result in termination; makeup shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
• Requested time off must be submitted during the application process
• Holiday coverage may be required based on unit needs
• Travelers must not submit to more than one position at a time and travel pairs are not allowed

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in telemetry required
• Current AHA or RQI certifications required
• Epic EMR experience is required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Only US Social Security Numbers are accepted
• Medical exemption is the only accepted reason for Flu vaccine declination
