Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced Med/Surg RN with telemetry background for a night shift assignment requiring EPIC and BLS (AHA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the Medical/Surgical unit
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Telemetry monitoring required as part of the role
• Must be prepared to float within skill set or to facilities within a 40-mile radius if needed
• Uses EPIC as the primary EMR
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required
• No artificial or acrylic nails are allowed, and nails must be shorter than 1/4 inch
• May be required to float to other units or sites within 40 miles based on staffing needs
• Travelers are only allowed to apply to one position across the system at a time
• Radius rule applies for local candidates with reduced rates based on distance to facility

Requirements

• Active WI or compact state RN license with verification via Nursys
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
• Telemetry experience required
• NIH certification preferred
• At least 1 year of nursing experience
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US address
