Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring an active Oregon RN license and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
  • Care for a diverse patient population including non-critical, emergent, and mental health cases
  • Night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM with rotating weekends
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks
  • Responsibilities include providing acute care to a broad range of Emergency Department patients
  • All staff in the department are certified for critical cardiac and trauma care, including pediatric patients
  • Facility maintains strict adherence to job requirements with no exceptions for experience or certification criteria

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
  • Must be able to care for cardiac, trauma, and pediatric emergency patients

I loved it the hospital was small the patients were not much to handle and people were friendly.

Cons

Someone tried to walk into my hotel room while I was sleeping and had the do not disturb sign on the door. Very creepy.
