Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring BLS, ACLS, and IR experience in a Level II Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a Level II Trauma Center
- Day shifts, 4x10-hour schedule from 7:00 to 17:30
- Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
- Average daily caseload is 18 patients
- No weekend work required, but on-call is required during specified evening and weekend hours
- No floating between like units required
- Uses Epic charting system; experience with Epic is required
- Duties include providing nursing care for patients undergoing IR procedures
- Call coverage rotation is variable based on staffing needs
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state if required
- Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) allowed; any RTO must be addressed and approved prior to offer
- Flexible scrub color allowed, except for reddish orange
- Facility provides paid parking
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must provide at least 2 supervisory references spanning 1 year of recent comparable experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Former permanent staff must have a 3-month break before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
