Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR experience, ARRT and BLS certification.

Details

• Work in an interventional radiology unit with 2 procedure rooms
• 4x9 hour day shifts with start times at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Call includes 1-2 weekdays and 1 weekend per 4-week schedule
• Procedures include upper and lower extremity angiograms, atherectomy, mesenteric interventions, dialysis fistulagram/declot, nephrostomy tubes, biliary tubes, embolizations, and port placements
• Patient population includes those requiring peripheral vascular and interventional procedures
• Opportunity to work with Toshiba/Cannon interventional rooms preferred
• Mileage radius requirement is 25 miles

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology
• Current ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with peripheral vascular procedures
• Familiarity with nephogram, kyphoplasty, internal/external biliary drainage, and venous access preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Duties include scrubbing, annotating, sending images to PACS, and circulating within the IR suite
• Work as part of a team with 2 interventional radiologists, 2 technologists, and 1 nurse assigned per day
• On-call support includes 2 technologists and a radiologist
