Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a valid CA license and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine department
• Research PET scans using investigational ligands as part of patient care
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 hours)
• No CT certification required
• Utilizes Cerner EMR; Cerner charting experience required
• No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling allowed
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates returning as a traveler must have been gone for at least 1 year
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• No requested time off allowed within the first 2 weeks of assignment
• Once requested time off (RTO) is submitted, it cannot be changed except to cancel
• Must provide at least one supervisory or management reference from the past year for consideration

Requirements

• Valid and active CA Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• At least 1 year of acute care experience required
• Recent experience in nuclear medicine within the last 2 years
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Ability to pass EKG exam within 3 attempts
