Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a day shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and a valid CA State Flouro Permit.
Responsibilities
- Work in an inpatient Interventional Radiology unit caring for adolescent to geriatric patients
- Day shifts with a 4x10 hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Call is required; must live within 25 minutes of the facility and have a car
- Required to float within scope as needed
- Use of EPIC as the charting system
- Fluoroscopy equipment used consistently, including scrubbing neuro cases
- Must be willing to take call and float as required
- All requests for time off must be declared at the time of initial consideration
- High cost of living in the area; candidates are advised to research beforehand
- Team cares for a diverse age range from adolescents to geriatrics
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Valid BLS and CA State Flouro Permit required
- Must have experience scrubbing neuro procedures
- EPIC charting system experience required
- Experience with fluoroscopy equipment required
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Preferred certifications include ACLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, and NMTCB
- License required if applicable
