Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with prior travel experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certification in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy Labor & Delivery unit handling 650-700 deliveries per year
• Responsibilities include triage, labor, Cesarean section OR, and recovery room care
• Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• Some weekend and holiday shifts required
• Unit uses Cerner EMR system
• Royal blue scrubs required and are not provided
• Minimal to no requested time off is allowed for this assignment
• Must be able to work with a collaborative team in a high-volume setting
• Holiday coverage is required as part of the assignment

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Minimum one year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required, with two or more years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring (intermediate), circulator role, IV starts, and medical screening exams
