Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN with at least two years of experience and an active NC or compact license to float across multiple units.

Responsibilities

Work in the nursing float pool within a hospital setting
Float between med surg tele, cardio-pulmonary step-down, special progressive care, and cardiac observation units
Night shift, 12-hour shifts
No on-call responsibilities
Assignment length is 14 weeks
Epic EMR experience required
Responsibilities include caring for patients across cardiac and step-down units as assigned
Orientation to multiple units provided
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in a float pool role

Requirements

Active NC or compact state RN license
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Recent telemetry experience required
Experience with cardiac drips and insulin drips required
Epic EMR proficiency required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
