Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a MA RN license and recent trauma-level ED experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
Night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three 12-hour shifts per week
Care provided in a trauma-level facility
No on-call responsibilities
Use of Epic EMR is required
Blue scrubs are recommended as a safe choice for dress code
Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed during the assignment
Travelers who previously worked as permanent staff at this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
Local candidates are accepted; reduced rates apply for candidates residing within 50 miles
Two professional references from the past 12 months required for consideration
Habitual or unexcused absences may result in contract termination

Requirements

Active MA RN license or MA Temp License required and must remain valid for the duration of the assignment
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a trauma-level facility
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required and must not expire within 30 days of assignment start
COVID-19 vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions accepted with documentation
Epic EMR experience required

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
