Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a day shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least 2 years of OR circulating experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Responsible for circulating in surgery cases that include orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, endoscopy, podiatry, ophthalmology, pain management, GYN, pulmonology, and urology
• Uses advanced equipment including Mako Robot and Davinci Robot
• Day shift schedule Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call is required during weekends, weeknights, and holidays
• Patient ratio is 1:1 in the OR
• May float within the Gallipolis location if necessary
• Charting is done with Paragon and Athena (prior experience not required)
• Scrubs are provided
• Provide circulating nursing care for diverse surgical specialties using robotic technology
• Participate in a call rotation including coverage for weekends and holidays
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• At least 2 years of operating room circulating experience preferred
• CNOR certification is preferred but not required
