Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with ARRT registration, CT certification, and at least 1 year of recent diagnostic radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a diagnostic radiology department
• Night shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
• Work involves providing diagnostic x-ray procedures for various patient populations
• Utilizes Epic EMR system for charting and patient documentation
• Operation of all x-ray imaging and related equipment is required
• Personal radiation dosimeter badge required for assignment
• Duties include patient transfers, operating x-ray imaging equipment, educating and positioning patients, administering contrast, and submitting images to radiologists
• Responsible for practicing proper radiation safety and infection prevention measures
• May supervise and evaluate student radiographers in the clinical setting
• Permanent staff must have a separation of at least one year before eligible for a travel assignment
• Scrub or dress code and additional orientation details will be provided upon assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in diagnostic radiology required
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
• CT certification required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Current AHA BLS certification, valid through assignment
• Experience using Epic EMR preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
