Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Operating Room position requiring a compact or TN RN license and at least one year of recent OR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room (OR) of a surgical center
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Assignment is for an 8-week contract
- No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Provide perioperative nursing care including pre-, intra-, and postoperative responsibilities
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient care
- Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided by the facility
- Assignment does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
- Applicant must be able to submit complete documentation, including licensure and certifications, for consideration
Requirements
- Active RN license in TN or a compact state is required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Two years of clinical experience required if applying for Far West - N CA Region facilities
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification (must not expire within first 30 days of assignment)
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Professional references required: two if licensed in FL or MO, one for all other states
