Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a pre-operative position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital pre-operative unit
Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, four days per week
Schedule is from 0600 to 1630
13-week contract assignment
No on-call responsibilities
Candidates who were permanent staff must wait two years before returning as travelers
All time off must be requested prior to offer
First-time travelers will be considered
Holiday coverage may be required per department needs

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent pre-operative nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
