Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a current CA license and two years of recent clinical OR experience for a day shift travel assignment.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Operating Room (OR) of a hospital
Day shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM with required call
13-week travel contract
Patient population includes perioperative surgical cases
Primary duties include circulating and scrubbing for various surgical procedures
Participation in on-call coverage is required as scheduled
50-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates accepted
Scrub dress code must be followed according to hospital policy

Requirements

Active CA RN license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA or ASHI required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Must provide valid US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
References as per state requirement: one professional reference needed for California

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
