Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a current CA license and two years of recent clinical OR experience for a day shift travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Operating Room (OR) of a hospital
- Day shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM with required call
- 13-week travel contract
- Patient population includes perioperative surgical cases
- Primary duties include circulating and scrubbing for various surgical procedures
- Participation in on-call coverage is required as scheduled
- 50-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates accepted
- Scrub dress code must be followed according to hospital policy
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA or ASHI required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must provide valid US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- References as per state requirement: one professional reference needed for California

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in.
