Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a MA RN license and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position located in the Emergency Department serving a diverse island community
• Work schedule is 36 hours per week with rotating shifts
• Epic charting system is used in the department
• Patient population includes both year-round residents and a large seasonal influx
• Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
• Team provides comprehensive emergency care in a supportive environment
• Travelers must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for standard rates
• No religious or medical exemptions accepted for flu vaccine compliance
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience required
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required, preferably AHA
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Flu vaccine required without exemptions
