Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 2-3 years of experience and ARRT (R) certification to join a Diagnostic Imaging team serving in-patient, out-patient, and ER populations.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 192-bed hospital Diagnostic Imaging department
- Care for out-patient, in-patient, and emergency room patients
- Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures including use of XR equipment, C-arms, O-arm, and portables
- Assigned to 10-hour variable shifts with schedules posted monthly
- Weekend rotation and on-call required; typically one weeknight call per week and weekend call every six weeks
- May float to Pain Clinic, Outpatient Imaging, or Surgery as needed
- EMR system is Meditech; experience preferred but not required
- Collaborate with a Radiology nurse and Lead Tech for departmental support
- Minimal orientation provided for facility and unit
- Scrub color is any color per department policy
- On-campus parking is free
- Team-oriented environment that values adaptability and willingness to assist with all cases
- Up to 7 days of RTO approved if traveler is willing to extend contract to accommodate
- Holiday coverage is required as scheduled
- First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Active MT State License and ARRT (R) certification required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with fluoroscopy, C-arm, O-arm, and 3D C-arm is preferred
