Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Tech with active BLS and RCS or RDCS certification for an 11am-7pm weekday shift and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Work setting is a hospital-based diagnostic imaging department
Responsibilities include adult echo, stress, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), with potential coverage for some pediatric cases
Shift is 11am-7pm, Monday through Friday
On-call weekend rotation occurs every 7 weeks
Perform 2D/3D, Doppler, transesophageal, and stress echocardiographic exams following ASE standards
Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation in the medical record
Educate patients and families about procedures
Maintain equipment and promptly report repair needs
Participate in the on-call roster as scheduled
Respond to emergency situations as needed

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program required
Current active state license if applicable
BLS certification required
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) required
Experience in performing adult echo, stress and TEE examinations required
Must be able to recognize arrhythmias and respond appropriately

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in.
