Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 17-bed ICU position, providing care for complex cardiovascular and surgical patients using advanced technology.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 17-bed ICU/CSICU within a hospital setting
• Care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics with cardiovascular, surgical, and critical illnesses
• Perform specialized procedures including care for patients with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), induced hypothermia, ECMO, and Impella Heart Pump
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment in an ANCC Magnet® Recognized nursing division
• Day shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00
• Provide direct patient care and leadership within a collaborative nursing team
• Deliver patient-centered care through the nursing process in a shared governance model
• Team-oriented environment with a focus on professionalism, integrity, and respect
• Position is designated as safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593
• References from two supervisors within the last three years of employment are required
• Certifications must be attached at the time of consideration

Requirements

• Active Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required, BSN preferred)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years critical care or ICU nursing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities required
