Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position at a critical access hospital, requiring a currently active MT or compact RN license and ER experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a critical access hospital setting with Emergency Room and acute care responsibilities
Facility includes 25 total beds with two ER bays and five acute or skilled care beds
Night shift hours are 17:45 to 06:15, three to four 12-hour shifts per week
Patient population includes ER, acute care adult, geriatric, and med-surg cases
Nurse will be responsible for five acute care beds and two ER bays during shift
Role involves caring for both acute and emergency patients during night shifts
Work as part of a small team including LTC nurse and acute care/ER staff
No COVID vaccination requirement specified
First-time travelers may be considered

Requirements

Active MT or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year ER nursing experience
Current license must be active at the time of consideration

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
