Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and BLS for a primarily pediatric outpatient role with a mix of adult acute care.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care teaching hospital with a Level IV trauma designation
• 85% pediatric outpatient and 15% adult outpatient caseload, with one day weekly on adult acute care
• Daily patient load averages 12 to 14 patients
• Monday through Friday outpatient, Saturday acute care, day shift 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Charting is completed using Cerner EMR
• Business casual attire required
• Free onsite parking available
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Time off requests require approval by the Unit Manager
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team in a supportive teaching hospital environment

Requirements

• Current CCC-SLP certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
• License required if applicable
• Ability to manage a varied pediatric and adult caseload
