Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a VA or compact license, with night shifts and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with patient ratios typically at 1:5
- Assignment length is flexible, ranging from 14 to 26 weeks
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 18:45 to 07:15
- Unit assignment will be determined based on facility needs after clinical evaluation
- All travelers are required to float within their acuity level as needed
- Epic EMR system is utilized and prior experience is required
- Travelers may request assignment lengths from 14 up to 26 weeks
- Floating may be required to similar acuity units during the assignment
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Two professional references needed for consideration
