Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN with a Maryland or compact license, offering night shifts and weekend rotation.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital telemetry unit
- Night shift schedule of either 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00-07:30)
- Patient ratio is 1:5 to 1:6
- Every other weekend shift required
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Floating required within the specialty, to lower acuity settings, and to sister location
- No on-call responsibilities
- Responsible for providing specialized care to patients on the telemetry unit
- Must be willing to float to units within the specialty and to sister location as needed
- Orientation and onboarding will include CPI certification
- Holiday coverage required as assigned
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- CPI certification to be completed during onboarding
- First-time travelers are accepted
