Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong ENT, pediatrics, and plastics experience for a weekend day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
Primary patient populations include ENT, pediatrics, and plastics surgical cases
Weekend day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:45am to 7:15pm
3-4 call shifts required in a 6 week period, with one call shift on a weekend
Floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required based on census
Uses Epic EMR system; 1 year of Epic experience required
Must be comfortable with pediatric, ENT, and plastics surgical procedures
Weekend and call responsibilities are an integral part of this role
Medical testing required prior to assignment
May require floating to other operating rooms or surgical units as needed

Requirements

Active SC or compact RN license required
Current AHA BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room experience with strong skills in ENT, plastics, and pediatrics
At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Two professional references required at time of consideration

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
