Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in a combined medical-surgical unit, requiring an AZ or compact RN license and at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a combined medical-surgical unit within a hospital
• Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for a diverse adult patient population with varying medical-surgical needs
• Travel nurses are expected to provide comprehensive nursing care to a variety of medical-surgical patients
• Participation in patient care planning and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is required
• Facility does not accept rehires from LifePoint within 12 months
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (RQI not accepted)
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidate must not reside within 60 miles of the facility
• No full-time employment elsewhere allowed during assignment
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination card required
